Gli OsseltioN non sono un progetto da social...difatti i post sono piuttosto rari!
Ma quando ci sono, vuol dire che qualcosa sta salendo dall'Abisso.
SONO UFFICIALMENTE INIZIATE LE RECORDINGS DELL'ULTIMO SINGOLO DELLA TRIOLOGIA!!!
Il titolo sarà come detto "Wraiths" e se non incapperemo in ulteriori impedimenti, sarà rilasciato in digitale sulla piattaforma Bandcamp di Ulag Zone.
Si torna al suono primigenio del progetto, dopo che la Via è stata percorsa, squassata da creature ora grottesche, ora sagge...e da pura rappresentazione della Deformità.
Si continua col sound a tre chitarre, ma stavolta si aggiungerà un basso a 7 corde.
Ed a sovrastrutture sonore...non sarà per tutti.
A livello lirico, sarà un viaggio dove creature vanescenti si manifesteranno lungo le oscure galleria della vita...scoprendo nel finale la più raggelante delle verità.

Piccola sorpresa finale...sto pensando magari sul finire del 2025, inizio 2026, di stampare in un unico cd edizione limitata, i tre singoli con libretto apposito e qualche chicca....vedremo!
Fino ad allora, vostro Ulag, vostri OsseltioN, vostre le "Halls of Deformity".

OsseltioN is not a social project...in fact, the posts are quite rare!

But when they are there, something is rising from the Abyss.

THE RECORDING OF THE LAST SINGLE OF THE TRILOGY HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN!!!

The title will be as said "Wraiths" and if we do not run into further impediments, it will be released digitally on the Ulag Zone Bandcamp platform.

We return to the original sound of the project after the Path has been traveled, shaken by creatures now grotesque, now wise ... and by a pure representation of Deformity.

We continue with the three-guitar sound, but a 7-string bass will be added this time.

And to sound superstructures ... it will not be for everyone.

Lyrically, it will be a journey where vanescent creatures will manifest themselves along the dark tunnels of life ... discovering in the end the most chilling of truths.

Little final surprise...I'm thinking maybe at the end of 2025, the beginning of 2026, to print in a single limited edition CD, the three singles with a special booklet and some goodies....we'll see!

In seconda battuta, sono ufficialmente iniziate le composizione per il brano che concluderà la triologia dei singoli, chiamato "Wraiths".

L'idea è di tornare ad un sound più articolato ma con la rielaborazione catacombale di "The Path...".
E come ogni disco, un qualcosa in più....si passa al basso 7 corde!!!

10 YEARS IN THE HALLS OF DEFORMITY!!!

Sono passati 10 anni da quando "Last Words" venne pubblicato, con l'allora etichetta, mai troppo rimpianta, SG Records.
Definire l'importanza dell'inizio di quello che a tutti gli effetti un percorso personale, non credo sia possibile a parole, specie in un freddo comunicato stampa...
Qui si è cambiato definitivamente linguaggio personale, attitudine, modo di vedere ed ascoltare.
Ed i limiti sono, definitivamente caduti.

10 anni sembrano pochi, ma a livello comunicativo sono UN'ERA!
Scelte stilistiche assolutamente folli (ancora qualcuno si sente ferito dall'intermezzo di Psychotic Frames...), per non parlare delle decisioni sonore.
Far passare la chitarra ritmica direttamente in un DBX166 , POI nel boost (Radial Tonebone) ed infine nella testata (H&K Tour Reverb) è da omicidio cerebrale.
Ma la scoperta sonora è una parte del sentiero nero che si è intrapreso.

"Lontano dalla luce è l'ineffabile splendore"

Le parole sfuggono e sono quantomai vuote.
10 anni dall'apertura dei cancelli delle Halls Of Deformity.
Ed ancora non è il tempo di chiuderli.

It has been 10 years since "Last Words" was released on the then never-too-regret label SG Records.
Defining the importance of the beginning of what for all intents and purposes a personal journey, I do not think is possible in words, especially in a cold press release ...
Here personal language, attitude, way of seeing, and listening have definitely changed.
And the limits have definitely fallen.
10 years seem a short time, but on a communicative level, they are AN ERA!
Absolutely insane stylistic choices (still some feel hurt by the interlude of Psychotic Frames ...), not to mention the sound decisions.
Passing the rhythm guitar directly into a DBX166, THEN in the boost (Radial Tonebone), and finally in the head (H&K Tour Reverb) is brain-dead.
But the sonic discovery is a part of the black path that has been taken.

"Far from the light is the ineffable splendor"

The words flee away and are very empty.
10 years since the opening of the gates of the Halls Of Deformity.
And still, it is not the time to close them.

Il 25 Dicembre è ufficialmente uscito in digitale (non potrebbe essere altrimenti) il nostro nuovo lavoro: The Path, the Key and the Unlight.
Un pezzo abnorme, indigeribile e stavolta, MONSTRUOSAMENTE Old Style.
Lo necessitava il concept.
Perché una cosa non è importante solo nel concetto, ma anche nella sua esposizione!
Più avanti pubblicheremo una disamina più approfondita, ma per ora, spazio alla musica.

Ci sono sempre state due costanti negli OsseltioN: la totale libertà artistica...ed il ritardo nelle release!
Anche stavolta purtroppo non faremo eccezione!
L'Arte non ha scadenze, anche se inevitabilmente ci proviamo sempre.
Semplicemente, tra sperimentazioni sonore e le recordings stesse, siamo andati lunghi!
Quindi, abbiamo deciso di cercare una nuova data...e numerologicamente questa è assolutamente perfetta!
Potremmo perfino considerarlo un regalo a noi stessi!
